Driven by a deep-seated belief that development and design can make the world a better place, Donald Choi possesses over 40 years of experience as architect and developer. He was the CEO of Chinachem Group, Managing Director of the Nan Fung Group, and a Director of Foster and Partners, Donald has worked on a large number of high-profile public and private development projects worldwide.

Donald is active in community services. He holds multiple leadership roles in NGOs and professional bodies that focus on real estate development, innovation and the community. He is a Trustee of Rhode Island School of Design, an Adjunct Professor at HKU, Advisory Committee Member of PolyU Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation, Member of the HKU Campus Development and Planning Committee, Honorary Advisor of the HK PropTech Association, Advisor of Our HK Foundation, Advisory Committee Member of the HKTDC Infrastructure Development, the Hospital Governing Committee [HGC] of HK Eye Hospital & Kowloon Hospital and the Chairman of Sub-committee on Capital Works of the HGC of North District Hospital, Honorary Advisor of HK Workers’ Health Centre, a Member of the Council for Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development, Vice President of the Real Estate Developers Association of HK, President of the HK Institute of Real Estate Administrators, IPP of the HK Institute of Architects, and IPP of the HK Institute of Urban Design. Donald is the Management Board Chairperson of the Construction Innovation and Technology Application Centre and also serves on the board of Habitat of Humanity HK and HK Design Centre.
